Since 2009, ASIE has had an annual camping trip held one weekend in August at Tucalota Springs (pronounced Tuck-a-lo-tee).
This is a fun family event, whether you are a seasoned camper, or would like to try camping for the first time – ASIE is here to make sure you have a good time. The campground provides activities that you can do alone or with your family and friends such as: hay rides, swimming, horseshoes, trails for hiking or biking, and a fishing pond. There also is a basketball hoop and a volleyball court. ASIE will provide a few activities, games, and s’mores! You are welcome to join us or feel free to explore on your own. Fishing is available, but you are required to pay $3 fishing permit per person.
ASIE provides dinner Friday and Saturday night, a continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and lunch on Saturday. We ask that if you bring snacks to share and any special food you may need.
Admission is $5 per person per night. Free for children 3 years of age and under. which you pay at the front desk as you arrive. RVs/trailers are welcome at a discount rate of $40 per night. You will need to contact Tucalota Springs directly for more information regarding a deposit.
Made possible in part by a generous donation from the Hussman Foundation.
