Early Start
At the Inland Regional Center, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We understand that children can achieve remarkable progress when they receive the necessary support at a young age. That is why we work closely with local communities to identify and serve those children who require our assistance. Our primary goal is to help your child make significant developmental progress through early intervention.
There is an array of services available through the Early Start program and those services are designed to support and enhance the family’s capability to meet their children’s special needs. Since a parent is the most important component in a child’s life, all intervention strategies include a parent education emphasis to help parents maximize their child’s development by including goals and strategies that are built around family routines and activities that are meaningful to their child.

Early Start Information Packet
The Early Start (ES) program is California’s early intervention program for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk for having a developmental disability and their families. Early Start services are available statewide and are provided in a coordinated, family-centered system.
