Ages 13 to17 - The Autism Society Inland Empire has partnered with Old Town Artisan Studios to offer creative art experiences to students ages 13-17 with ASD and their siblings who are in the same age range (limited to 2 siblings).    Students will work alongside the instructor as they demonstrate and instruct participants through the entire process. Art mediums including drawing, painting, clay sculpting, glass painting and other creative content to give students the opportunity to have fun and explore their creativity. Cost is $5 per person. Limited capacity - 10 students per class. In-person for ages 13-17. Town's End Market & Stillhouse. We will meet next to roller skating rink. The entire meeting will be outside so dress warmly. Siblings allowed if fall into same age group. Fun icebreaker, meet & greet. 2 hours $18 per jumper (compared to $42). Jumpers must wear grip socks (available for purchase there or you can bring yours). Parents/caretakers are free if you are not jumping. Toddlers under age 3 require an adult to supervise. Compete the online waiver to save time at registration. Snacks available for purchase.

Come hear valuable lessons from professionals and adults on the spectrum who have experience with services and supports available on college campuses, navigating through Disability Student Services and common challenges on a college campus, and tips for overcoming them. Our speakers: Amy Wilms has been a vital support for students for over 30 years. She currently serves as the Director, Academic Resource Center & Disability Services - Vanguard University of Southern California. CASH ONLY Jumpers must wear grip socks, available for purchase there $4, or you can bring yours. Parents/caretakers jump for free. Toddlers under age 3 require an adult to supervise. Got an autistic picky eater on your hands? Contrary to the top recommendation, people on the autism spectrum will not eat whatever if they’re hungry enough. Michelle Goodrow has been a special education teacher since 1998 and is as passionate about serving kids as she was on her first day.  She has been honored by California State Sen. Connie Leyva for her service.  She will talk about strategies and techniques she uses in her classroom to help children with Autism and other special needs learn to become more tolerant of different foods. Purple Easel Private Event. In-person. Ages 13-17. Siblings allowed if they fall into that same age group. $15 per child - must be paid online during registration. This is not a drop off event. Family member or caretaker must stay with child/children during the event. Limited capacity. Registration will close at 20.

Are you worried about being safe in the community? Traveling on public transportation? Dealing with people calling you mean names? This class is for you! This class will be taught by Kidpower, a global nonprofit leader in personal safety education for all ages, teaching skills for strong relationships and the prevention of harm. Spanish translation will be available.
