Adults 18+ Hands on Art

For adults 18+ - The Autism Society Inland Empire has partnered with Old Town Artisan Studios to offer creative art experiences to adults 18+ with ASD and their siblings who are in the same age range (limited to 2 siblings).    Students will work alongside the instructor as they demonstrate and instruct participants through the entire process. Art mediums including drawing, painting, clay sculpting, glass painting and other creative content to give students the opportunity to have fun and explore their creativity.

Halloween Spooktacular

Join us for a Fa-Boo-lous time at the Autism Society Inland Empire Halloween Spooktacular Trunk-or-Treat for the Autism and intellectual/developmental disability community. The free family-friendly event offers individuals an opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a safe and supportive environment. The Trunk-or-Treat will feature carnival games, a corn maze and inflatables, trick-or-treat stations, community resources, and more. This is a fun, safe alternative to nighttime trick or treating, particularly for those with sensory issues, and a great activity for children to practice and improve their language and social skills.

Virtual Tabletop Gaming Group

The RPG is changing its name to The Virtual Tabletop Gaming Group. We have decided to change our name since we play a wide variety of virtual tabletop games like Chess, Uno, Monopoly and Clue as well as role play games like Dungeons and Dragons. Our new schedule: We’ll meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at 7:00 pm (6:45 if you are new or need technical help). You will need a (free) Steam account and within Steam you need to purchase Tabletop Simulator for $19.99 (this is a one-time only purchase.)

Parental Involvement in Schools: How to Make a Difference

Our special speaker is Flora Martinez. Flora has a 22 year old ASD son, who has been a client of the Regional Center since he was 4. She's the Educational Specialist for Autism Society Inland Empire, serves as a Trustee for Ontario-Montclair School District, and is the chair of the In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee. Flora's passion lies in helping families overcome some of the systematic obstacles they might face in obtaining services for their loved ones. She aims to empower families through education.

Adults Diagnosed Later in Life

This is a dynamic support group who suspect or have obtained a late diagnosis of Autism (as a teen or adult). We welcome those who have been self-diagnosed. This closed group allows you a safe space to discuss issues important to you. Peers offer tips and strategies.

Rancho Group – Bowling

This is a private event for the Autism Society Inland Empire Rancho Cucamonga Young Adult Group.  Bowling Package: $25 per bowler includes 1.5 hrs of bowling & shoe rental, 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Because we have to pre-pay, this event is non-refundable.  Space is limited - First come, first serve. You must RSVP and pay online through the link. Last day to register is October 24th.
