Ages 13 to 17 – Hands on Art Coachella Valley

Ages 13 to17 - The Autism Society Inland Empire has partnered with Old Town Artisan Studios to offer creative art experiences to students ages 13-17 with ASD and their siblings who are in the same age range (limited to 2 siblings).    Students will work alongside the instructor as they demonstrate and instruct participants through the entire process. Art mediums including drawing, painting, clay sculpting, glass painting and other creative content to give students the opportunity to have fun and explore their creativity. Cost is $5 per person. Limited capacity - 10 students per class. High Desert Teen Meet-UP

In-person for ages 13-17. Town's End Market & Stillhouse. We will meet next to roller skating rink. The entire meeting will be outside so dress warmly. Siblings allowed if fall into same age group. Fun icebreaker, meet & greet. Then board games. This program is not a drop-off event. Caregivers 18 yrs. old and older will not partake in the event’s activities but must be present during the duration, no exceptions. Jump Night at Big Air

2 hours $18 per jumper (compared to $42). Jumpers must wear grip socks (available for purchase there or you can bring yours). Parents/caretakers are free if you are not jumping. Toddlers under age 3 require an adult to supervise. Compete the online waiver to save time at registration. Snacks available for purchase.

Autism and College: Insight for Students with ASD

Come hear valuable lessons from professionals and adults on the spectrum who have experience with services and supports available on college campuses, navigating through Disability Student Services and common challenges on a college campus, and tips for overcoming them. Our speakers: Amy Wilms has been a vital support for students for over 30 years. Fun for all ages! This is a special price for Autism Society Inland Empire families: 2 hours $14 per child (including siblings). CASH ONLY Jumpers must wear grip socks, available for purchase there $4, or you can bring yours. Parents/caretakers jump for free. Toddlers under age 3 require an adult to supervise. Got an autistic picky eater on your hands? Contrary to the top recommendation, people on the autism spectrum will not eat whatever if they’re hungry enough. Skills for Being Safe in Public

Are you worried about being safe in the community? Traveling on public transportation? Dealing with people calling you mean names? This class is for you! This class will be taught by Kidpower, a global nonprofit leader in personal safety education for all ages, teaching skills for strong relationships and the prevention of harm.
