Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) is the state agency which may assist Californians with disabilities to obtain and retain employment and maximize their equality and ability to live independently in their communities. these services may include:
Career assessment and counseling
Job search and interview skills
Independent living skills
Career education and training
If there is a problem which can not be resolved by contacting the office manager or district manager, The Client Assistance Program is part of Disability Rights California and helps people get services from the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR).

Provides information; advice and advocacy to help people with disabilities get rehabilitation services from the DOR, such as training, education and a job. In addition, CAP advocates help protect the rights of people who receive or need services from Independent Living Centers, or other Rehabilitation Act Funded partners.
