C.A.S.T. for Kids (Catch A Special Thrill)

The C.A.S.T. program provides one day fishing and boating events designed to accommodate children (ages 7-16 yrs) with a wide range of special needs.Enjoy a memorable day of fishing on a boat, pairing an expert angler with a child and their parent/guardian, plus FREE entrance to the lake, fishing pole, tackle, t-shirt, games, family lunch, and plenty of fun.

Non profit organization headquartered in Southern California with a charter to enhance the lives of special needs individuals by inviting selected groups to enjoy a complimentary half day fishing trip on the sea. This program is designed to provide love and inspiration to a multitude of special needs people while teaching fishing skills and ministering to the value of life.

Rim Special Athletes are individuals with visual and hearing impairments, amputations, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Down Syndrome, Autism, as well as many other cognitive and physical disabilities. During winter, programs at Snow Valley Mountain Resort include Adaptive skiing and snowboard lessons, including bi-ski and mono-ski. During the Spring, Summer and Fall, we have weekly golf clinics. Year-round yoga. During the summer, programs includes kayaking, aqua biking, stand up paddleboarding, boating, biking, fishing, hiking and outings.

Offers summer and winter sports programs, reservations must be made well in advance as availability is limited and demand is high. Summer sessions are either single day or overnight sessions in July and August, with activities such as water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, and fishing. Winter sessions run December through March, with activities such as skiing and snowboarding.
