College Scholarships for Students with Autism
This is a list of scholarships specific for students with Autism. It is not meant to be an all inclusive list. Check with these funders for the latest deadlines.
AAHD Scholarship Program (American Association on Health and Disability Scholarships)
Supports students with disabilities who are pursuing higher education. Preference is given to students who are enrolled in undergraduate/graduate studies in the field of public health, health promotion, medical fields, and disability studies, to include disability policy and disability research. Royalties from the Disability and Health Journal will fund the AAHD Scholarship Fund. Scholarships will be limited to under $1,000. The AAHD Board of Directors Scholarship Committee will evaluate each of the applicants and make a decision in December of each calendar year.

This fund will provide scholarships to San Bernardino Valley College or Crafton Hills College.
Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship for Autism
Either you or a close family member has been diagnosed with a form of autism, including Asperger syndrome, and the applicant is currently enrolled or has been accepted into an accredited university or college, either at the undergraduate or post-graduate level. Additionally, applicants should submit an essay on one of the topics listed below with a minimum of 500 words and maximum of 1,000 words.

The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation
Offers a scholarship for high school graduates, undergraduates, and graduate students. Also has additional information on other scholarships for epilepsy as well as resources to find scholarships.
Financial Aid for Students with Disabilities

Offers scholarship, mentoring, college preparation or internship opportunities. $750 scholarships are renewable for 4 years. Must have a documented disability and full time attendance at trade school, college or university. Applications due April 1st each year.
The Matthew Paul Finnigan Memorial Scholarship Fund
Was established in memory of Matthew Finnigan, who was a high-functioning adult with autism whose life was taken before he could achieve his goal of helping others on the Autism Spectrum. Matthew was attending college in Monterey, and had visions of going into graduate school to use his strength in Math, Chemistry and Statistics and a growing interest in Psychiatry and Psychology to support research to help adolescents on the Autism Spectrum.

1 scholarship of $1000 USD each will be awarded. Eligible applicants are a High School Seniors, Undergraduates, Graduates as well as international students and you must have a documented learning disability.
