Sydney Edmond is an artist and poet from Temecula, CA, who has autism and apraxia, which makes it difficult for her to control her movements. She learned to communicate by typing at the age of ten and has given numerous presentations at autism conferences, workshops, and classrooms, emphasizing the importance of providing nonverbal individuals with a means to fully communicate.
