Would you like some guidance on exploring careers that would be the best for you?

Our Future Pathways is online for 13 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 1 to 3 p.m., to help adults who are Inland Regional Center clients take t9he next step in their career journey!

In partnership with Daivergent, the Autism Society Inland Empire offers the Future Pathways Program. This intensive 130-hour virtual training program can help Inland Regional Center clients take the next step in their career journey. Our program, Future Pathways

  • Job Skills, Preferred Activities, and Vocational Assessments: Our employment support staff is trained to assess and support the exploration of an individual’s skills and interests.
  • Learn and practice soft skills: This includes setting Up Your Home Office, writing professional emails, managing your Online Presence, and digital professionalism
  • Learn and practice hard skills, including online security, Google Docs, Zoom and Video Conferencing Tools, Google Chat, and MS Teams.
  • Developing a person-centered career plan: Tailored guidance to help you create a career plan that suits your unique needs and goals.
  • Job Development: Our staff is skilled in teaching individuals how to find and be hired for jobs that suit them, including providing support in tasks such as interviewing, creating a resume, and applying for jobs.
  • Short-term job coaching: Job Coaching: Support to help you succeed and connect to long-term job coaching if needed.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR UPCOMING SESSIONS

Jan 13th – May 7th 2025 Monday through Friday from 1-3 pm except for holidays: Jan 20th and Feb 17th

August 4th Nov 6th, 2025 Monday through Friday from 1-3 pm except for holidays: Sept 1 and Oct 13th

CANDIDATES: Interested in applying? The ideal candidate for this program is someone who

• Motivated to comes to it with an open mind, is committed to their success, and whose ultimate goal is to find and sustain meaningful employment.
• Is an Inland Regional Center Client
• Has High school degree/GED/certificate of completion
• Able to attend daily training Mon-Fri 1-3 pm virtually during the cohort time

 

Please note: parents are not allowed to attend classes.
