Parents of non-speaking autistic children (ages 3-6 years old) will learn how to promote communication at home during their daily routines such as meal time, play time, and during the bedtime routine. Caregivers will learn how to identify key teaching opportunities to teach basic ASL signs like “More” and “All done.” No prior experience is required.

Our guest speaker is Celeste Resendiz, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who’s been in the field of behavioral therapy for over 12 years who works with caregivers to empower and educate them on how to teach their autistic child new, meaningful, everyday skills. If you require a close caption service or an American Sign Language interpreter, please send an email with the event title, date, and time to our Program Coordinator, Anel Ibarra, [email protected] at least seven business days before the webinar is to take place.
