San Bernardino County Childcare Assistance – The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) can help fund childcare and help families find resources in San Bernardino County.  A family of 2 can make up to $6000 a month, a family of 4 can make up to $7900.  The application only takes a few minutes and is free –

Riverside County Childcare Assistance – First 5 Riverside County funds early learning scholarships for low-income children to attend quality-rated licensed child care centers and family child care homes. Offers an after-school children’s programs and a Recreation and Leisure Program for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and epilepsy. The center features an activity room, computer lab, an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor play area and a specialized learning lab that is ideal for students with autism and other communicative disorders. The after school program is Mon – Fri for ages 5-22. Vendored through Inland Regional Center. The Recreation and Leisure Program is for ages 18 and up with a few for each event.

This program is an after-school recreation program designed for children, teens and young adults with and without disabilities, ages 3 years and up. A variety of activities are offered including but not limited to: crafts, games, sports, cooking, community outings and special events! Through the use of recreation and leisure the participants are able to strengthen their social skills with their peers, adults and the public. Through their participation in these activities they increase their creativity, self-esteem, team building skills, and leadership skills, which in turn helps them improve their overall quality of life.
