On Sept 26, 2020 Autism advocates Feda Almaliti and her son Mu, tragically passed away in a house fire. Feda and gotten out of the house but went back inside when she realized her son did not come out. They died together.

As a tribute to them, we support the September 26th project, a website developed by her family, dedicated to providing safety information to families with disabilities so a tragedy like this never happens again. Please take some time to make a plan and practice, so tragedies like this never happen again.
